Pre-Algebra Newsletter
One of the assignments throughout the semester was to create a newsletter either geared towards parents, students or both. I used Microsoft Word for the assignment and was required to make the newsletter visually
appealing by using different font styles, sizes, and colors as well as
making it appropriate for Middle Childhood Education grade levels.
I created a newsletter for eighth grade Pre-Algebra students. The newsletter covers monomials and like terms. I used word art for the header so it would stand out. I then made the newsletter by including notes on a topic recently covered in class with some practice problems. This is an excellent resource for students who were either absent or need more practice over a certain topic.
